I would not even give this agency one star. If there were a zero option, I would select it. While letting a flat in London is not easy and I am sure that letting agencies have their hands very full, Blix Properties is unprofessional, uncommunicative and are borderline crooks. I was scheduled to move in to a short stay flat and they knowingly double booked the flat, meaning the previous tenant was still occupying the flat for another week. I arrived at the flat in the morning, discovered this and had to drive back across London in my rental car full of my belongings to speak with the agency. When I arrived at the Blix office they said they had been aware of the double-booking and wanted me to move to an open flat for a couple days before occupying the original flat. I had rented a car only for a couple of hours to move my things and therefore that morning I was stranded with all of my belongings and could not move later in the afternoon not to mention multiple times. It is incredible that they expect you to move multiple times between their properties, despite the fact that I paid for and visited/approved one particular flat, all in order to optimise their bookings. I find it underhanded that they wait until the day of to tell a customer that they cannot move in. They want to fill every day of the calendar with paying customers with no regard to customer care or the fact that people cannot haul belongings all over London and move multiple times at their will. I am disgusted by the service and strongly suggest to others that they avoid this agency to the extent possible!

Absolutely horrible. I had to use this place because I was looking for a flat in London from the U.S., and my friend had used them before, so I knew at least it existed. I would not use them if I had another option, and wasn’t so desparate. They were responsive BEFORE I signed the lease. The studio that I’m currently living at is just not what I saw in the pictures at all. The sofa was RIPPED and it smelled like cigarette(even though it’s not allowed in the apartment), the bathroom was NOT cleaned, the window does NOT have a lock, the walls are extremely thin, the light in the bathroom was out since Day 1, overall the condition of the apartment is so poor for £350 per week(which is expensive for a studio in London). The worst part is that their change in attitude when I paid my first rent and deposit. They never gave me a packet that contains emergency phone number and wifi passords, so I kept emailing them for it, called and texted my agent, but they never responded to my request. I was appalled that they simply kept ignoring them, not even responding at all. I had to go knocking around several of my neighbors to get the password but it’s extremely slow that I simply can’t use it. My neighbor also told me that she’s complained several times, but Blix never took any action. I’m just appalled and so disappointed, and so broke! I definitely feel like they take advantage of people who come for a short period, since everyone in my apartment also are temporary visitors. I would not use them again when I come back to London next time.
