This place is a great find! Not only are the pastries absolutely delicious, but the owners are incredibly welcoming and committed to bringing the highest quality patisserie to their customers. From more ‘traditional’ inverted black forests to the signature dark chocolate and orange cake that Eric made for his wife Hülya, these desserts all reflect the passion and love that goes into the making. Eric is particularly careful at balancing flavors and giving each creation a combination of textures. Downstairs there are some nice tables where to enjoy the kitchen’s creations and apparently soon there will be lunch and brunch options available. For the holiday period the Belle Époque created a selection of Christmas logs that make beautiful presents. I loved the ‘childhood’ one, with creamy vanilla and chocolate– comforting flavors without the exaggerated sweetness. Bravo to all the team!
