Be at one is an easy after work bar for me as I work in Soho! I’ve been a few times and had a range of experiences from super friendly bar staff to very grumpy! Tonight the experience was pleasant thankfully! I went at 5.45(happy hour from 5) to say goodbye to a colleague and wish another a happy bday — big fan of the 241 happy hour on cocktails(although I’m sure they’ve gone up in price since I last went a while ago) and my colleague and I split the cost so we had one each. It’s always very very very busy during happy hour — if you want a table get there early and they’re usually a bit funny about big groups standing in the middle(which is what we had to do) so that detracted from the nice experience of enjoying my cocktail with work pals. I might have stayed longer if it was less busy with somewhere for us to lean/not get shoved so often from people trying to get to the bar. Overall I got what is expected of a be at one. Mid level bar with some fun cocktails and not bad for an after work drink/meeting point before a night out!

Un large choix de cocktails, qui sont pour bon nombre d’entre eux très bons. Les prix sont raisonnables. Très bruyant par contre.

My favorite bar in London! The music is awesome. The drinks are delicious. And they have 2 for 1 happy hour until 7. Whether you’re in the area or not, this is a necessary stop.

The cocktail menu is as thick as a story book! Get in, get a seat, get a menu! And play ip dip. Just watch the first step in… GENTLEMANWATCH the first step in

I love Be at One. Some of my best nights out with my girlfriends have started with happy hour at various branches of Be at One. I’m a cocktail lover and Be at One has an extensive list of amazing cocktails, all made in front of you by staff. The bar tenders are generally very friendly and make sure to say hi almost as soon as you get to the bar. The mix of great music, buzzing atmosphere and strong cocktails mean I always want to dance when I’m at Be at One and if we’re looking for somewhere to dance, we usually end up deciding to go here. They’re a chain but they’ve got it right at all of their branches and I’ll continue going here as long as they keep things as good as they are.

A mediocre idea poorly executed. To hear the staff talk, you’d think there wasn’t another cocktail bar in the city, but in reality, with so many to choose from, a venue had better stand out to be worth returning to. And while I like cheap cocktails, it’s good if they are quality, otherwise I might as well go for cheaper drinks that are more consistent. This place makes the mistake of thinking that knowing a lot of cocktails makes it seem like you know what you’re doing, but this needs to be backed up by a better product. I don’t find the atmosphere very appealing either. It’s in a basement so feels airless and when there aren’t too many people in it, there is pretty much no atmosphere. Décor-wise, it feels like the 90s. On top of that, I found it impersonal with pushy staff. I’m not saying don’t go here necessarily — it’s just totally not my kind of place and with so many options in London, why bother?

They have happy hour everyday until 7pm. Buy one get one free of the same cocktail. Super yummy and a really wide choice. No food or nibbles though and no natural daylight, this place is in a basement in Soho. Quite big with lots of seating and a dance floor. Part of a chain. Drinks are good and quite reasonable especially for central London.

Be At One is one of my favourite cocktail bars, partly because they do my favourite cocktail ever, the Irish Disco Biscuit(crushed Oreos, baileys, vanilla ice cream and mint syrup) and partly because you can have a great night out dancing there. You should start from their afternoon happy hour with their two for one cocktails and then continue through the night and dance to all the popular songs you love. The staff is always friendly and they will make small talk and recommend drinks from the menu they think you will like. They also tend to be really fun and play around with the bottles and ice cubes so they create a great atmosphere.

Ah B@1. Go to any city and you’re bound to bump into one around a corner somewhere. And I love that feeling. Coming from a big city, it reminds me of home. Trying to sneak drinks and convince the bartender that you’re old enough, good times. It never worked… Fortunately, I am now old enough to buy alcohol(and then some!) and still like that feeling of familiarity. This particular branch is my London favourite, perfect location for an after work happy hour drink before you go and catch a show or return home suitably merry. Happy hour until 7 with a great selection of cocktails to choose from, outside of happy hour it’s too pricey but when you tell a cocktail is half price I normally tell you that I’ll have two! And here, I always have two :)

I think friends and I must have arrived in Be At One shortly before closing time, or else everything was already becoming a bit of a blur that night. I know we arrived, had a drink, stood around talking, and before we knew it, the lights were on and we were back on the corner outside. The bar itself is quite small, with a side room, and possibly a back room, though to be fair I didn’t do a whole ton of exploring. It’s the kind of place I could easily see tucking into on a date, because it’s dark and feels intimate, and the drinks are good enough. Also, they totally let us bring a bottle of wine in, which I’m not sure is allowed… Like I said, things are a bit of a blur. Be At One helped them get a bit blurrier.

Loud Music, Barman super friendly and happy hour. What’s not to like. Yeah, that mango bellini was pretty bad. Or maybe I just don’t like Prosecco, with mango. It’s kinda pulpy and weird. Since both my friend and I are five nothing and below, we got drink pretty damn quickly and it was good. LOL and then we rocked up at the Malaysian UYE all giggly. It was fun, music was recognisable and everyone knew the lyrics. It was just a really nice relaxed atmosphere. I wish there were more seats.

A really good range of cocktails. Can be quite expensive at full price, but the happy hours make the prices much more bearable. The hours are pretty generous, more so if you have their iPhone app which gives you a personal happy hour five nights a week.

OK, I get it — so someone went totally overboard and created pages and pages of a cocktail menu. But then someone else needs to follow the recipe and mix, right? I had two drinks here made by two different bartenders and they were both, very average or below average. A cosmopolitan that tasted like cranberry juice with bad vodka followed by a lychee martini, which was like lychee and vodka mixed together with a stick of indifference by the side. Pecked at my friends’ drinks but couldn’t find anything striking. I tried, I really did. The music was OK, bordering bad; and the acoustics seemed antiquated. Anyone’s had better luck with other Be At One’s?

I’m not a fan of commercial and pub chains but due to its fantastic range of cocktails and Happy Hour I am a fan of B @ 1! The service is extremely quick and attentive — especially at this branch, to the extent where you’re almost shouted at on walking in which is kind of a little annoying! However you do then receive a quick turn around at the bar on ordering even in the exceptionally busy times. The atmosphere is buzzy and a bit frenetic and the music is loud and fun so you could come here with a range of friends and find something for everyone but I wouldn’t recommend it outside of Happy Hour as it does get expensive. Great location and friendly crowd.

Good cocktail, reasonably priced(keep an eye out for happy hour), a nicely laid out venue. Be at one are a chain, and this bar is definitely not a weak link. Although the music was quite loud(excessive for a Tuesday night), so it wasn’t easy to chat.

AMAZINGBAR !! Went there on a sunday night, it was really packed. The atmosphere was really nice, bartenders so helpful, and what about the cocktails! Buy one get one free from 4pm to 10:30pm…a neverending list of delicious cocktails. Will definitely come back.

Ok, I don’t have a clue about cocktails. The number of cocktails I have drunk in my life can possibly be counted using my fingers alone. I’m not experienced in cocktail bars either. Having said that, I think Be@1 is absolutely awesome. It’s simple: two super friendly bartenders having a lot fun, scooping vanilla ice cream, different kinds of liqueurs and crushed oreo biscuits in a blender and then pouring it over our glasses while singing and making fun of each others. And then they have 21, great music(that everybody sign aloud when it’s a famous and catching song) and the cocktails were really good(for my totally inexperienced taste buds, yes). I had Japanese Slipper, Bolero(soooo good, with vanilla ice cream, mango and passion fruit liqueur) and a non-alcoholic On the wagon. I’m looking forward to go back sometime and this isn’t something that I would say of a cocktail bar.

Decent bar which is v. lively on a weekend! Good cocktails and friendly staff which serve pretty quickly considering how busy it was. Not all that cheap, but about right for the area. Only downside was it took ages to get a table, but as I said it was busy.

One of the worst bars i’ve been to in a long time. I know this is central and all, but this too expected. Extremely pricey drinks, with only average to sub-average quality. Boring Boring Boring is all I can say. Avoid this place as there are much better things in the area. Feels like a tourist trap. Tacky, cheesy, ugly, stupid and overpriced.

If you fancy a great cocktail at reasonable price then it is the place to go! They have a great range of cocktails, from the classics to the ice cream ones with a wide range of flavours… yummy! And all that with a very appealing 2−4−1 happy hour offer! I also have to mention the quality of the bar staff, very speedy and efficient, friendly, and an excellent team work! Music a bit loud so I wouldn’t recommend it for a first date but great atmosphere. I’ll definately be back there!

Super Cocktailbar in Soho!
