Barcode is situated just off Rupert Street, just slightly off the beaten track for the main gay bars. This doesn’t mean you should overlook the place, especially those who are into bears, slightly older guys and more hard-​core clubbing.
Early evening you may find this place quite deserted but head back after 10pm, it’s open late most nights, and the place will be heaving with hot heavies and drinking at the more than affordable bar.
The music policy of this bar should be singled out as their DJ’s are brilliant. Good enough to make you stay till the end or get you in the mood for some late-​night clubbing.
The downstairs area opens at weekends and sometimes hosts comedy nights.
A simple bar for guys who know who and what they want from a night out!
