Good for a quick grab or bite during lunch.
The restaurant gets very busy during lunch. It is not easy to get seats during lunch time. You order, eat and then pay later at the counter.
They do soup and bread for £3. Their sandwiches are good value for money.
There is a gold bar at the counter for customers to put tips in.

Delicious!!! The service was quick but the homemade pasta was incredible. The bolognese sauce was perfect and I would definitely eat here again.

I really like this little Italian café, nestled on the Aldwych end of Kingsway. Decent menu with great pasta dishes at very low prices. Good place to have home cooked food, and their Jacket Potatoes are delicious at only £3.80 for a sit in meal with salad.
The establishment mainly attracts local students and the occasional tourist. I will be going back again and trying the mushroom risotto as it looked delicious.
Only downside is that the service can be a bit chaotic and rushed especially at lunch time and even on a weekend. No table service, you have to order at the bar, queued for 10 minutes.

Nothing too impressive. My sandwich was good but not enough to make up for the log queue and wait to get it toasted. As much as I like to avoid Pret-cetera, at least the wait at those isn’t bad and the sandwich cost about the same. Either needs to be significantly cheaper or tastier for me to want to wait that long for lunch.
