Not the friendliest of places… Dropped in to try their £102-course set meal offer only to learn that it was an extra fiver to have shrimps in my noodles… My friend didn’t fare much better. After ordering something and realizing he could have the main he ordered + a starter for an extra £2 if he’d chosen the exact same main on the set course menu instead, he was told ‘it’s already gone through the till, you can’t just give me £2′ … The food itself was good, but with service that bad I prefer to rather eat at home.

All Bar One offers a large and modern space. It’s hip and lively, especially on a Friday night after work. What All Bar One doesn’t offer is good food. Last night was my third time eating at an All Bar One(all different locations) and I, once again, found the food to be terribly underwhelming. I ordered the lemon chicken and was served three chicken strips that were over cooked. I did not think it was possible to over fry anything but All Bar One proved me wrong. The«pea shoot salad» which resembled arugula/rocket more than anything was good but there wasn’t enough of it to pair with the chicken strips. I also was not a fan of the slate that my meal was served on. My food kept falling off the slate and the ketchup I had poured easily slid off the slate as I dipped and swirled my fries in it. Service was awful. In fact, we sat at a table for about 10 minutes and finally resorted to ordering our food and drinks at the bar. Other tables were receiving table service and I was quick to note that there was only one server for the entire space — about 30 tables. Typical UK staffing and service. My last disappointment of the evening is that this All Bar One location does not have Erdinger. Not by the tap and not by the bottle. Boo.

Very posh feeling. The drinks are reasonably priced even tho the place looks and feels posh. It’s openly till 1am is a bonus too

I have been twice. And twice I felt really cold and that is why we left, so that is why I won’t be coming again. More expensive than you probably expect.

All Bar One still exists, but they’re definitive proof that what was cool in 1998 is definitely not now. I thought I’d go here for a pint and some nibbles in early December. Let’s imagine it as a misguided late-90s nostalgia trip. I put on my bootcut flare jeans and timberland boots, hummed some Verve to myself and put in an order for a pint of Sierra Nevada at the bar. £5.60 a pint !!! I obviously don’t remember the runaway inflation of the 90s. Avoid at all costs — unless you enjoy paying 50% more for a basic pint they sell all over town.

This place looks like an All Bar One but once you get inside I was there on a Friday night it resembled a cheap nightclub with many drunken guys hanging around and some woman even spilled her drink on me. One drunk guy came over and told me the place is allegedly known for people with a ‘habit’ which really put me off. Have been on a sunday for a roast and it had a great atmosphere with even single people reading the paper and tucking into a delicious roast but avoid on Friday/Sat night if you are wearing something nice that you do not want to have to dry clean the following morning.

I don’t mind an All Bar One, they’re generally a reliable choice for bottle of wine and a reasonable lunch, but this one is awful. Do yourself a favour and go to the Roebuck instead.

I quite like this place — lunchtime is great especially the gammon and eggs and some great wines — But I do agree with the other reviews that it is very samey but if you know what you are getting then you can’t really complain…

We went on a night out searching for a lovely yet inexpensive eat, some wine and a buzzing atmosphere; we found it at All Bar One Chiswick. Waiter was friendly, attentive and very good with advice. He knew his gear and it was delivered with cheer and good will. Only downside — not the best place if you’re out to meet people; not for for socialising but really pleasant environment, comfortable tables and great for a good catchup with a friend. mains around £8 veggie options house wine £11 If you indulge in dessert, don’t go past the chocolate fondant desert — to die for!

It’s not the worst pub on the high road, but there are certainly better ones within a stones-throw. the All Bar One, as most other reviewer have said, does lack character and atmosphere. In the evenings it can also attract quite an annoying crowd. If you’re after a quiet drink round lunch time or maybe a glass of wine, then it’s not bad, but don’t expect much more

All Bar One is one of those chains, which you either love or hate. In the past I’ve found nice quiet ones where you can enjoy a meal and a drink with friends, but unfortunately this one has become like party central being so packed that people pour out into the street, with thumping house music(my worst nightmare). You’ll never find a seat, so if standing around with the suits after work is your idea of fun, this is the place for you, if not, head to the George IV instead which isn’t far away!

Like all the other bars in this chain this place is rather soulless and characterless. It is rather sterile and doesn’t feel terribly welcoming. However, it does still get rather busy after office hours and on weekends. On this strip of Chiswick there are actually quite a few pubs, so if I were you I’d go for one of the other ones next door, but if you like the chain feel, then this place isn’t all that bad.

Ive been in here a few time’s and i have to say you have seen one bar one you have seen them all. Best thing about this one is its open late night on saturdays and thats about it i think as its allways full off suits’s no where to sit and just no vibe!

Sorry, but I find the All Bar One bars soulless & characterless. Yes they’re handy(a popular place to meet), but they’re cookie-cutter commercialism at its worst. They strive to provide a lifestyle venue but I find them lifeless. They’re just badly designed — rip out the heart of an existing unit(preferably with high ceilings), strip back the decoration, put up some blackboards & kit out with as much wood as possible. Surprise, surprise you get a big, echoey wooden box. Food is OK& service is patchy. I’ve seen a waiter fired during lunch service, which sadly was the highlight of that particular visit.
