I ate here just after New Year and we were very happy with the food. I was awkward(ordering off menu) and confused the waitress but when I sent back what she had brought me she was very polite and my replacement meal was delivered really fast. My 85 year old Nanna found the music a bit loud(actually so did I) but they even turned it down a bit to make it more suitable for Sunday brunch.

Great views of tower bridge and really friendly staff. it does get a bit blowy in the wind outside but worth sitting out there for the view. They have O2 wifi for free as well so easy to get on and fast internet. I wasn’t that keen on the halloumi wrap I had but it was more my choice rather than the food quality I think. Great place for a few beers in the sun!

A fantastic bar by the river thames with great views. it has the same style as any other All bar one bars. staff were friendly and there was a nice terrace out front for those summer months.

I stumbled among this place cause it happen to be right next to the pub I wanted to try, London Stone(they were closed). It was not bad at all. Ordered the 5 dishes for 25 pounds. The food was good, not great but I liked the atmosphere as it was casual and great for groups. I would recommend this place if you are going with a bunch of friends and just looking for easy going place. But then again, this is London, every restaurant are good for groups!

I’m not a huge All Bar One fan. I think I spent too much time in one in particular when I first moved up to Manchester, so I’ve tarred them all with the same brush. My brother has recently moved to south London, and whilst Mum and I were staying with him recently, we went to Borough market. Afterwards we took a walk along the river and stopped off here once our stomachs recovered from the delights of Borough market. It’s about 15 – 20 minute slow walk from London Bridge, and just a few minutes from Tower Bridge. In terms of the menu, set up and bar choice, this one is standard in terms of what you expect from All Bar One. I had the Butternut Squash and Sultana Burger which was tasty, although not the best butternut squash based burger i’ve had. My brother had the half roast chicken(nice, apparently) and my mum had the fish finger wrap(again, nice). Being on Dry January, I had a mocktail — the ‘Elderflower Fizz’ was very nice, although I couldn’t help but torture myself by thinking how nice it would be with a bit of gin in it. A nice touch, which I don’t recall from other ABO, is that with our hot drinks, we had smarties. The service was so-so — our first server was friendly and helpful but he was replaced part way through our visit with a very grumpy woman. I’ve given this a fairly mediocre write up, but the reason I’ve given this a 4* instead of 3* is, quite simply, the breathtaking view of London. We were lucky that it was a sunny day, but even from our inside seats, we had a great view. I could imagine on a hot summer’s day the outside seating would be packed and rightly so. Sometimes, location can turn a mediocre chain bar into a great place for drinks, and this is the case here. Overall, I’d say if you are in this part of London and want to know what you are getting plus have a great view of the City and East London, then this is the place for you.

We ate here on our last night in London and were very pleased with our choice. It has a lovely view of the Tower Bridge, the atmosphere is nice, and the food was delicious. Overall a great experience!

This All Bar One has probably one of the best views in London — it’s right on the river front and looks out on the Thames, the beautiful Tower bridge and the city. Think you can also see Canary Wharf from here too. It has a fair bit of outside seating which is great in the summer. Inside its like a normal All Bar One with a light and airy feel. They have a nice selection of wines and beers. Also they serve decent food at reasonable prices. It’s a good bar to go in a busy tourist area as its kind of off the beaten track.

In three years of living in the UK, I’ve avoided All Bar Ones as I imagined it would be a soulless chain. Perhaps it is, but this location was a pleasant surprise. We were with a large group and one person suggested heading here for drinks. The wine list actually featured a variety of interesting choices, and the bartender actually seemed to care that we got what we wanted, allowing us to taste before we decided on a Brazilian tannat. Granted, it was a Tuesday night and therefore not too crowded. Might be a different story on a Thursday or Friday. After, I had a mojito that was competently made. Good selection of lagers on tap(a lot of the guys in our group boringly went for Stella). Stunning views of the Thames and Tower Bridge from the patio. If you’re in the neighborhood and want a pleasant drink with a good view, this is a good choice.

When you ‘ll pass, you ‘ll see a new and modern bar. When they tell you it was recently renovated, that was pretty clear. It was beautiful and really amusing to just sit there. It was a unique location with one hell of a view on the tower bridge. We were there with a group so I have no idea of prices and the whole menu. But the things we ate were delicious! Everyone who’s looking for a nice dinner in the evening. This is the place to be!

Wow! I took my time reviewing this. I can here with a bunch of mates days before I left London. The location is beautiful! Just near Tower Bridge. They have a very nice selection of wines which makes me happy. It doesn’t have the normal vibe of your typical«all bar one». It was slightly more unique. But when it gets crowded, the acoustics in the room turn peoples voices on the largest decimal. It didn’t bother me that much, but hard to hear who is standing right next to you. Nice bar, nice location!

It embarrasses me to say it, but I totally like this place. The food, drink and location are all a spectacular value. I’m a particular fan of the brunch, except they won’t serve you alcohol on a Sunday until noon(what the hell). Aaaaand it’s an All Bar One. Dear God, what has happened to me? My streetfood cred is ruined forever.

No, I wasn’t expecting to give an All Bar One four stars either. But this one is different. This one is actually quite nice. Once you get past the fact that out of choice, you’re drinking in an All Bar One. Why so different? Well it’s go a damn nice view y’see. Really nice. The pub is right be Tower Bridge, and you’ve got the river and well, it’s just really rather pleasant. But that’s not enough for four stars, is it? Nope. The selection of beers they have is staggering. I don’t attach All Bar One with fancy ales and interesting tipples. But this bar impressed me. I wasn’t expecting to be impressed, but I was. I had lots of tasty different beers, and everyone was happy. We were actually here for a friend’s birthday, and they’d hired an area. I don’t know if it would be my first choice, there’s a lot of pubs around here that I think are better, but I think it’s deserving of its four stars, even if that surprises me.

Incredibly slow service. So bad that I was really looking forward to giving this place a 1 star rating, particularly as I am not the biggest fan of the All Bar One chain as it is. But reason has prevailed, I have calmed down. The lovely riverside location and large selection of foreign lagers warrant some kind of recognition. I have to say though I couldn’t understand why the service was taking so long. I’ve seen busier bars with less staff, but got served quicker. I was there for about 10 minutes, I think my friend thought I had left! It is nice to sit outside with a view of Tower Bridge and the river, but there are other options along the river. I’d rather give somewhere else a try than come here again.

As All Bar Ones go, this one’s not too bad. Nice view out over the thames, a good range of beers, and decent tapas.

I like All Bar Ones, despite the fact that they are all the same. Always relaxed and comfortable — happy to sit and read a newspaper in a big leather armchair. This ABO has all of this, plus a beautiful river view in a lovely, lively part of town. You can sit inside or out, watching the world and his dog go about their business, strolling on the waterfront. The food is not fancy, but good and not expensive, and there is a decent range of wine and beers.
