Ace Fusion

Wow, thinking about Ace is making my mouth water. How to describe Ace fusion? Colourful, vibrant, soulful, stylish and has a festival touch to it. I love the African art and the festival masks on display and I love the music they played that day. Restaurant so great that even Katherine Jackson dined here.
Customer service was outstanding! They made me and Omoraka. O feel at home. I ordered curry goat with chips and Omoraka ordered creole cod. The quality of the food was cooked to perfection, both of us cleaned our plate!

This is another one of those 5-​star reviews that makes me second guess all my other generous 5-​star reviews, because Ace really is in a league of its own.
We’ve been living in London for almost a year and I had yet to have any good jerk chicken, probably because I’ve lived in Kensington and Fulham and gone to school in Bloomsbury, all neighborhoods where Caribbean food is pretty limited.
It was worth the wait. This was the best jerk chicken that I’ve EVER had. Big thumbs up to the crab cakes and mac & cheese as well.

Me and Chelle R were in the Clapham area craving for Caribbean food, we googled and found Ace Fusion.
Ace Fusion serves Caribbean (more Caribbean) African and English food.
The restaurant has wooden flooring, including tables and chair and staircase. Its a bright restaurant, with big windows. They have outdoor seating as well, they had a barbecue going as well, the weather was lovey that day. They have African art on the walls, which they also sell as well. They have a bar as well and some seating at the back of the restaurant.
We sat upstairs, while hearing amazing Afro-​beats and Soca tunes, I couldn’t help but jam in my chair. I decided to order the Creole cod which had a tomato based sauce with onion, sweet pepper and okra, I chose jollof rice to go with my meal. My meal was well presented, the fish was amazing and the flavours awesome the jollof rice has a nice spice to it and it went well with the sauce. I also ordered the sweet potato pudding which had in it sweet potato, cornmeal, coconut milk, nutmeg and vanilla essence. This dessert was sooo delicious, loved it!
Although it was a great meal, main meal was £13:95 if the portion of the rice was bigger than maybe, but Ive gone to other places with half that price with more food on me plate. Or with the same price, but still more food on me plate.
The customer service was superb, waitress was warm and friendly. The owner was lovely as well and when these customers behind us complained, she was quick to resolve it, with a friendly disposition
Ace Fusion seems great for birthdays as well, or any other special occasion. They also do a home delivery service, and a takeaway service too.
When I’m the Battersea/​Clapham area I would love to come back and try their cocktails. Overall had a great dining experience.

Fantastic food and great service makes this a great place to take the family. A little pricey but if you don’t mind paying for quality then this is worth it. The décor is colourful, they even sell their own art work! I’m lucky to have such a nice restaurant on my door step, but even if your not local, its still definitely worth the visit.

Mmmmm… my belly is still smiling 2 days after eating here. I have never eaten much Caribbean or African food before, I will be now I have discovered Ace Fusion so close to home.
OK… so Tuesday night straight after work meant the restaurant was empty (as was the whole of St John’s Hill), it really didn’t matter as one of the owners, Femi has enough personality to fill the room ten times over. She made us feel right at home, helped out with our meal choices and entertained us with her beautiful feathered wings from NottingHill festivals gone by.
Now for the food… Lushness! For starters, three of us shared the yummiest West Indian humous and crab cakes in jerk (heaven). I went for jerk chicken (mild, Natalie G is right it still has a kick) and the flatmates had mango chicken and rum & garlic prawns. Oh and not to forget rum & raisin ice cream that packs a real punch.
I reckon this place really rocks on the weekends… it has such a fantastic vibe… we can’t wait to go back and try out the mac & cheese side and curry goat which had been wiped out on Mother’s Day a couple of days before. And, they now deliver to the SW area… yahoo! It sure make a difference from the usual indian and pizza deliveries;)

I love love LOVE Caribbean food, having been introduced to the sheer delights of plantain and rice & peas from living in South London… so when I found this place existed and wasn’t too far away I was so happy. Took my cousin there for his birthday, and even though the food wasn’t as spectacular as I was expecting (I read the two reviews on here and one had given 5 stars), it was pretty damn good. I had the jerk chicken (mild but still with a kick!) and my cuz had curried goat — both very nice. And the lady running the place was so so lovely, I’m not sure what her name is but she wore an incredible blue headdress for the whole night, despite having to stoop really low to get to where we were sitting! She was so friendly, suggested what to eat, and didn’t make us feel rushed for a moment. Before we knew it, 3 hours had passed, and we were seriously chilled out. The music they play on their soundsystem is great too :)

Living in West London and having grown up in North/​East London I am not very familair with South London. Well apart from Kings Road– but does that really count as South London?
Anyway a friend of mine kept telling me about a really good West indian restaurant in Battersea. As Caribbean restaurants can be a bit a hit and miss I decided to take my mum to the other side of the river and check out Ace Fusion.
I was more than impressed with the food, very friendly service and reasonable prices. The manager Femi was lovely and immediately made us feel welcome. My mum who is a brilliant Caribbean cook is often highly critical of West Indian restaurant– the chicken is too dry, there isn’t enough seasoning, too salty etc. However my mum loved her snapper with rice and peas although she did say that having West African jolloff rice on the menu meant it was not a strictly Caribbean restaurant! That’s probably why it’s called Ace Fusion, whatever the reason I definately think this restaurant is ace.
