4 Star Hostel

I’m giving this place three stars for the MEN that took care of us while visiting. My mom and I booked a womens room for a couple nights. We were happy with the room and facilities. Everything was very clean. They have adapters for your chargers for a 5£ refundable deposit. We ate at the restaurant and we’re very happy with our choices. The food was great and they took great care of us and the recommendations of food and wine were great.
Now to the bad… The female receptionist was absolutely horrible. She was rude and degraded every single person who encountered her. One guy asked for a pen and she rolled her eyes and almost refused to give him one. When a person came to check in, she demanded they go sit in a booth «until she was ready for them». I tried to help a fellow female customer who had been locked out of her room so long she missed an important interview. I was yelled at and told I was a horrible person and a troublemaker. Luckily, my mother was there to tell this girl she was being rude and wrong. Was she having a bad day? I don’t think so. The managers said they would handle our complaint. Let’s hope so, as she needs to be fired. I hope, if we use this establishment again, that this girl is gone. She is an embarrassment to this place and sullies the wonderful atmosphere that the rest of the staff are providing. Other than this horrible excuse of a «receptionist» this place is great!
