Look sometimes in life you just have to bite the bullet and Pizza Hut it. Now this particular bullet is actually decent bite! They have great lunch time offers as well as a reasonably priced menu, where you can eat to your hearts contempt. We all know it’s a family haunt so if you aren’t fond of kids I suggest you walk on by. I on the other hand am fairly oblivious to my surroundings when it comes to eating. It seems a mute button goes on when I start fueling my body. It extends to watching TV, the mind seems to just switch to auto focus on food. I am thus able to watch the most gruesome horror film or documentary on plastic surgery. If you are out of pocket thus on an afternoon, £7 all you can eat lunch here will appeal a great deal!

Pizza Hit is a great meal out and a really fun option for a family meal as well as being brilliant quality. This outlet is in a great location and really has everything you need for either an evening meal or as part of a fun day out. This place has a great atmosphere and is really enjoyable as a dining experience as well as feeling quite fun also. The staff are great here and waiting times are nowhere near what you would expect. On the whole a typical fun pizza hit but with a better location than most can claim.

It looks fine from the outside but trust me, you have to be mentally and physically prepared for battle when you step inside this Pizza Hut. From Monday to Friday, it’s usually packed with students and local office folk taking advantage of the gut-busting Buffet offers and at weekends, it’s packed with families taking advantage of the special meal deals. The former usually consists of dozens of malnutritioned freshers excitedly walking back and forth with plates piled high with pizza whilst the latter usually consists of dozens of children excitedly playing, screaming and crying as they nibble on pizza and chicken nuggets. Add the inclusion of cheap sodas and ice-cream sundeas and you can imagine the outcome! To crank up the tension, the staff usually look like they’ve already worked three shifts and don’t know who to serve first and the queues can be rediculous. If you like a challenge and a bargain however, step this way…

Tip for students! This place is great for their £6.99 all you can eat lunch buffet. Best thing is, you can take home what you don’t eat, I mean they don’t give you a pizza box or anything, but many a time we managed to get lunch, dinner and breakfast doggy bagged up to sort us two days off our £6.99! Just fill up your plate! The pizza here is great, the staff are ace, the buffets massive and well worth your £6.99, people just don’t seem to reap the benefits of doggy bags enough these days though! The only problem with Pizza Hut is that the beer is expensive and sometimes you have to wait a while for a table and watch loads of people fill up on pizza while you wait! Other than this, job’s a good un and it’s a winner for a lunch or teatime meal. Aside from pizza they are now serving healthier lunches such as pastas and salads. But let’s be honest, you’re going to go to Pizza Hut for Pizza!

I have always been a fan of Pizza Hut ever since I was a kid and I especially like the branch in Liverpool ONE. The reason I say this is because it is much bigger than the other branch in the city centre and has more of an atmosphere as it’s set in such a prime location for shoppers. It always appears more busy too. I would recommend the ‘everything lunch buffet’ for £6.99 served daily as this allows to to choose from a selection of pizzas(thin and thick crusted), salads and pasta(hot and cold). So, basically you can eat as much as you like, so there is no reason why you shouldn’t be full! I think I managed to eat about 15 slices of pizza! Plus if you order a soft drink, these are free to top up. I do have a tip though: don’t eat the crust as you will get full too quickly and be light on the dried chilli flakes if you choose to sprinkle over your meal! The toppings on the pizzas aren’t plentiful as in Pizza Hut Belgium, I had ordered the same buffet but they were more generous with the toppings. However, I can’t fault the taste and texture of the pizzas as they are so moist on top and crispy on the base. The service here is great and Sam(my waiter) was really friendly and cleared my dishes as I went for further helpings. Tips deserved.
