Phones 4 U

Phones 4 U couldn’t be more different from o2.
The signage and displays are crass and eye-​catching instead of slick and stylish. The selection of phones on offer also range from cheap, plastic-​looking handsets to more design savy phones like Nokia and Apple. Where the store excel however, is their customer service. They always have plenty of staff working and they make a conscious effort to talk to each customer that walsk through the door. They also know their prices, products and tarrifs inside out — which is helpful if you’re in a hurry and don’t want to spend 45 minutes conversing about a replacement handset!

It seems like a new phone is necessary every month now rather than just when a new one is actually needed so I have been shopping round instead of just taking the first one offered to me.
I thought Phones 4 U would be a good place to start assuming they were an impartial mediator between phone companies and the shopper. A middle man they are but they are not necessarily impartial.
The selection of phones was good as they have all the latest models and are not tied to exclusivity of network provider but it still did not stop the sensation being given the hard sell as soon as I walked in. Helpful was offerred for my questions and what I was looking for in a phone but this was all done while I was quickly hurried to a desk and all my details taken down. No problem I thought as I was not signing any contracts but little did I realise I was letting myself in for future phone calls to arrange meetings at said store!
If you know what you want you can probably get a good deal as they are very keen for your custom, if just looking keep your wits about you!
