Cote is a classy French restaurant, in Britain, offering a nice a three course meal for only £11.90 until 7pm. Say what? I don’t care what country you’re from…£11.90($ 18.50ish) for a delicious three course French dinner is a spectacular deal! Especially in one of the most expensive countries in the world. You can’t even find a deal like this in France. Me: Chicken Pâté — Steak Frites — Peach Cobbler… everything was great! Her: Salad — Sea Trout — Peach Cobbler… everything was great! Meals like this would’ve easily been $ 40−50pp in America. The interior is nice and the staff was friendly enough, even though the place got really busy around 7:00pm. We also splurged a bit and spent £15.50 for a nice enough bottle of red wine(I’m not picky about my wine). Once you’re done with all your Beatlemania in Liverpool, get here before 7:00pm! :D

On a wintery and raining Sunday afternoon, we were trying to find a place to have some food. After attempts in 4 different restaurants on Paradise Street, we had been told we could get a table in one hour at Cote Bistro. We put down our name without hesitation and went to next door to have a drink and waited for our table. They just opened one week ago and they do not have a bar at the moment. We came back about one hour for our reservation. We were quickly greeted by the friendly staffs. They are young local girls and lads and they are really nice to the guests. They came twice to check if we made up out mind on orders not being pushing. We had a glass of Blanc De Blancs, Olives and Calmari for starters. The wine and olives together with some pickles were in good quality. The Calmari was served with sauce and Fresh lemon wedge, which is tasty and tender. As for the main, I had the pan roasted pork belly. After drinking some champagne and cocktail in the afternoon, I really need some greasy food to fill my stomachs. I even asked the waitress to change my potatoes to fries as well. I was pleased with the main course on its quality, taste and presentation. The caramel apples are sweet and soften. The pork belly was a bit greasy but I took the middle layer out. The top layer of the pork belly was well crispy and tasty without being too salty, which most pork belly usually was. I don’t usually have dessert for dinner so I escaped the dessert. Overall this has been a really pleasant experience. It’s just pleasant –relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. The staffs were friendly and the service was prompt and efficient. The price was definitely worth for the service and food you received.
