What I was imagining to be an eerie, silent room filled with sand dunes and swarthy men smoking a hookah pipe turned out to be quite a lively club, with a unique décor (at least this side of the Ottoman Empire) and a huge drinks selection, most of which was contained in mysterious bottles.
I’m not exactly a fan of rippity-​rappity-​hippity-​hop so would be hard pressed to give a commentary on the music, but as a place to stop by quickly for a few cheap drinks, the Camel Club could be much worse.
