Always has everything I need to clean my flat with at bargain prices! if you go to your supermarket, you’ll definitely be paying a lot more for the products. Here’s a tip: buy a massive 2L fairy liquid bottle from here instead of smaller bottles from supermarkets. It’ll save you those precious pennies!

Home Bargains are always the shop to shop at. Most of the items you can buy here are cheaper than over-priced supermarkets. They sell everything from hair dyes, toothpastes, to kitchen accessories, baby accessories to noodles, snacks and drinks. Fantastic store!

This is one of the many branches of Home Bargains across Liverpool. This branch is situated on Bold street, right in the heart of the city centre shopping area. This shop stocks a huge range of inexpensive items such as hair dye, alcohol, toiletries and food. The store is large and is unfortunately usually a bit messy, probably due to the sheer number of people coming through its doors throughout the day. The staff work hard to keep the shelves well stocked and they are friendly and happy to help you locate any item within the store. The till queues are usually quite long but whenever possible all the tills will be used and the staff will work hard to get you through the tills as quickly as possible. The range of items available here is excellent, but as there are many Home Bargains which are not in the city centre and are a little quieter, it is not the best place. I often leave here feeling frazzled and flustered and wishing I had waited and gone to my local branch instead.

Proper Liverpool institution is Home Bargains. Probably not something to shout about but considering Tom Morris started out by inheriting a very modest family business and turning HB into a multi million pound nationwide chain is nothing to sneer at. Cheap and cheerful is the motto — not officially but I’m guessing it’s what it would be — as ‘top brands at bargain prices’ is the name of the game. I can’t say that I have been to any HB much bigger than this store but HB’s are not somewhere to do your weekly shop but more a place to get daily essentials.

I would reckon that Home Bargains is a place most people will have shopped some time or another. For me, I frequently shop there anyway. It is a store filled with top brands at bottom prices and the variety of basic home essentials, canned and quick snacks they sell makes it an ideal source where you can buy general everyday items. Sometimes you can get away without having to go to the bigger stores as you can often find cheaper prices and get better value for money here. After all, it is really home and bargain! The service at each till is often busy but efficient and staff will put all your items into a carrier bag, so you don’t have to. You can always trust this place and you can’t really go wrong.
