This is a huge branch of B&Q located on the Aintree Racecourse Retail Park on Ormskirk Road. There is plenty of free car parking available and is accessible by public transport — approx 5 – 10 minute walk from both Old Roan and Aintree train stations and frequent buses stopping outside the main entrance to the retail park.
They sell pretty much anything you could think of to do with DIY and home improvements and there is a large outdoor garden section at one end and a builders yard at the other.
Staff are knowledgeable and helpful and they have experts based in each department if you get stuck!
Always very good value for money.
