Fish & chips are getting expensive these days — hard to get it for 2 for less than £10. However I certainly didn’t feel ripped off here as both fish and chips were good. Mushy peas were maybe overly mushed but honestly it would be kind of ridiculous to start critiquing mushy peas.
Foolishly I ordered a saveloy thinking I was ordering a battered sausage! Imagine my disappointment. Our dog was pretty excited about it though.
No Chinese atm because they don’t have a chef, but they do such a good job with the English menu that you won’t miss it. Having said that, there’s nothing like a deep fried spring roll on the side…
