When friends from out of town are visiting, Issacs always ends up featuring on my «Tour of Ipswich». It’s in a cool location on the quay — great for sitting outside and people watching in summer and the tables upstairs are great for looking out over the water and all the boats.
It’s a really versatile venue … perfect for a quick & not too expensive lunch (hellooooo fish & chips!) but also fab at weekends for drinks to get the night started before heading into town to the other bars and clubs. Big high-​5 to whoever decided to put so many patio heaters up in the outside area … absolute God-​Send and makes all the difference.
Parking around that area can be a bit of a pain at busy times but definitely worth a walk if you can’t park nearby.
