History

Established in 1971.

Jalalabad has been managed by the Mr N Islam, Mr B Islam, Jay Rashid and Mr Ali since its opening.

Since then, Jalalabad 2 restaurant has been added to the chain, and there are plans for more… in London. Mr N Islam (Head chef and Proprietor) has helped organise and create skilled chefs along the way since his early days at the Jalalabad, Ilford Lane, many have taken the skills and passion to create their own restaurants and takeaways, locally, regionally and even abroad (e.g. Spain).

Established for over 32 years Jalalabad, Ilford Lane was opened in the late 1970‘s. It has been producing consistently good quality, flavoursome and perfectly replicated dishes in the town for decades.

We take great pride in our cuisine ensuring that there is no compromising on the quality when it comes to our food, customers and staffs were also encouraged to design their own curries and other dishes which were named after them.
