History

Established in 2003.

Inspiration Computers opened the doors in 2003 with the aim of helping home users in the battle against their PCs.

The business has grown thanks to the support of a very loyal customer base who found that they wanted to recommend us to their friends and colleagues. In 2010 we moved to our new bigger, brighter shop that enables us to work on more machines at the same time — which mean that our customers are not without their machines for too long.

Meet the Business Owner

Alison and Lee G.

Business Owner

Alison has been around computers for a long time. Her father was an IT teacher and she can remember sitting with him and programming the family ZX80. She builds all the new PCs at Inspiration Computers and is also something of a whiz at Joomla CMS. Apart from this she can also play the piano & violin, cook a superb risotto and run a marathon.

Lee was bought his first computer when he was eight years old and he’s been working with them ever since.

In a previous life he was a web editor for www.asda.com, image manager for www.boots.com and made TV programs for the BBC, Channel 4 and ITV.

He can also fix fruit machines, make candy-floss, play the saxophone and eat more ice cream in one sitting that you could possibly imagine.
