Our luxury ice cream is made at Over Langshaw Farm in the heart of the Scottish Borders. Thanks to our cool coos and cheerful chooks we are able to use our own fresh milk, cream and eggs giving us a uniquely creamy, smooth and rich ice cream. We also use local seasonal berries and fruits to make delicious and refreshing sorbets. You can try our Ice cream from The Grassmarket Police Box and you’ll also find us in many restaurants throughout Edinburgh and The Borders.

We have 10 different flavours squeezed into our wee police box, they are all gluten free and we also have 2 dairy free sorbet options which you can have in a cone or a cup. we are more than happy to let you have a sample or two before you choose!

Delicious ice cream at the Grassmarket in the south city center of Edinburgh. It was the perfect dessert after a nice lunch in this area. The shop is small but very nice and they have very interesting combinations of flavors.

Love this ice cream!!! I haven’t yet been to the newly opened ice cream box but I can’t wait to visit :) I have been to the farm where the ice cream is made from scratch… the only dilemma you will face is deciding which yummy flavour you should choose, there’s something for everyone :)

I tried Over Langshaw Ice Cream from the police box in the Grassmarket just at the bottom of Victoria street.
If your looking for fresh delicious ice cream with fun and quirky style this is the place for you!
Its friendly makers are clearly passionate about their product that they make on a farm just south of Edinburgh using local Scottish produce. And are happy to let you sample a few of their varied selection of ice cream before making a decision (still hard to choose though!)
The set up it truly unique, based in one of Edinburgh’s old police boxes that has been given a new lease of life and even includes pictures of the organic cows that give their ice cream the rich and creamy flavour!
Defiantly worth a visit when soaking in the sights of beautiful old Edinburgh.
