TJ Hughes is a budget department store which feels almost old fashioned. I think it does some great deals on named products, for example perfumes, designer clothing and branded homewares and electrical items. I recently bought a hoover there for £39 which was £70 in Argos and these are the type of savings you can expect in TJ Hughes. I wish it had a café, unfortunately it doesn’t, however the branch in Bradford does so I think it is more of an issue of size than anything else. I shop here regularly and always find a good bargain be it on a handbag or a hoover!

You can find some really good discounts on well known branded cosmetics and perfume in here. The clothes section is a bit hit and miss, but the home range is also good value.

This is a really useful store as it sells a wide range of goods at bargain prices. You can get your passport photos done here. It also has a good range of pay as you go phones at discounted prices.

TJ Hughes is a bit like TK Maxx for the older generation! But that doesn’t mean there’s not loads of brilliant bargains for everyone — they get good quality brand names and discount them, I fell in love with a Monsoon coat in there last month but they didn’t have it in my size. Boo. It was only £40 instead of £160 as well so I was gutted.
They seem to sell a lot of perfume and often have 2 for a tenner and similar offers which is fab for pressies for aunties or work colleagues.
The menswear dept is good too — I saw some Gap tops in there on my last visit.
A bit messy but worth having a good look around.

Excellent department store which often has some genuine bargains. Always worth a look around. The perfume section seems to be rapidly expanding and is cheaper on price than other stores. There is a good selection of make up and beauty buys here — some well known brands selling at really competitive prices There is a good selection of both mens and womens clothing. An excellent homeware department can be found in the basement. Well worth a visit.

This is my favorite department store in doncaster, you can buy brand named make up, toiletries and perfumes all at a really low price, There clothes are excellent value as well, They always seem to have plenty of brand named mens clothes less than half recommended retail value, but some times it can be hit an miss with womens clothes especially jeans. Its a good place to come for womens lingerie They nearly always have sale prices on wonderbras ect. They have about 4 floor levels and they sell everything from gifts, tv’s mop&buckets what ever you wont they probebly sell it here

This is a large store in Doncaster town centre split onto a number of levels.
It offers (often heavilly) discounted goods including toys, bags, shoes, books, clothes, homewares, gifts, perfume etc.
Very good store especially around christmas with great deals to be had.
You do have to be on the ball though as some of the offers are so good that they go very fast!
