We are a property maintenance company based in Kent but operating throughout the home counties. We can cater for any of your building repair needs, although we specialise in all aspects of domestic and commercial roofing.

We install and maintain every roof system including: composite, sheeting, tiled, felt, pvc membrane, epdm rubber membrane, grp and liquid plastic.

Whether your roof is pitched or flat we have a solution to suit any realistic budget and our priority is to keep you, your family or your employees and your assets undamaged.

We install wall cladding systems made from timber, corrugated sheet or insulated composite.

Our operatives hold CSCS Health and safety cards (specialist work at heights), are trained to use mobile elevated working platforms (IPAF Qualified) and are competent in the erecting of scaffold towers (PASMA). Our work, employees and the public are covered by our liability insurance and the certificate is available for viewing on our company website www. smith​-roof​ing​.co​.uk

We have operatives who are trained and competent in domestic and commercial plumbing, electrical, carpentry, guttering, drainage and decorating.

History

Established in 2011.

In 2011 two families came together combining 50 years of building and construction experience, and the decision was taken to create one family business. Set up to benefit future generations.

Gary Smith (Safety flooring/​Roofing) and father-​in-​law Tony (general builder) first began to supply labour for other companies including Stonhard u. k, Advanced Roofing services and various estate management services before deciding to take on their own projects as Smith Roofing in 2011.

Business Owner

Gary Smith has been in the construction industry for twenty years where he has worked in roofing and safety flooring (resin flooring). He has made his way up to managing projects within both trades and has supplied labour on a sub-​contracted basis to various companies including Stonhard uk, Orien contracts and Advanced roofing.

Gary opened Smith Roofing in 2011 and, along with his father-​in-​law, continues to be hands-​on in the running of projects and the development of the companies good reputation. He is proud to work and own a family run business serving London and the home counties,
