We specialise in traditional British food all homemade. Our favorite dish amoungst our customers is the lovely treat of afternoon tea, famous for our amazing scones!

We also serve a variety of other yummy homemade food if cake isn’t your thing.

Our tearoom also boasts to offer the only large licensed function room in Nottingham that serves traditional afternoon within a TRUE tearoom environment. We can seat up to 40 — 50 people for all types of celebrations, from baby showers to hen parties!

History

Established in 2012.

We started our journey back in 2012 when we opened our first shop as a traditional tearoom in Woodthorpe, Nottingham in a lovely residential area we made a great difference to the old derelict shopping precinct by creating a community garden to the front which is still being maintained today.

In 2013 we expanded the business into the shop next door to our tearoom in Woodthorpe to create a fantastic Craft Centre to compliment the use of the tearoom, it showcased many local crafters and artists works as well as hosting a variety of craft workshops and baby groups.

In 2014 we expanded further, moving the businesses to Carlton Hill. We now have oodles of space, allowing us to open not only a tearoom and craft centre but a large restaurant, childs play area, function room, bar and numerous rooms for craft workshops and educational purposes.

We have just recently been nominated for the Pride of Gedling Awards 2014 and have been entered into the Nottingham Business Awards 2015!

Jess and her partner Carl have both worked extremely hard to create this unique, family friendly tearoom, with the main goal of creating a sense of community spirit within their business.

The team at Dolly’s also includes, Jess’s mum and sisters, as well as their resident DJ and entertainer, Steve (Carls Dad)… its a family affair: D and great fun!
