This Marks & Spencer branch is mostly food, and therefore ideal for anyone who loves M&S food and prefers to do all their food shopping there, as you can park outside, while doing a week’s shop in the city centre isn’t as convenient. This store has much more of a supermarket feel to it than other M&S food sections, with an easy to navigate layout and plenty of trolleys and baskets, and it’s rarely busy. As well as food, this store stocks some clothes, although not very much. It is mostly women’s clothes and the things that are on special offer in the main store, such as the back to school offers that have been on over the summer. There’s usually a sale rail too, which is good for a quick look through while you’re there as it’s much more condensed than in the big stores where the sale items are scattered about the departments. One thing that particularly stands out is the flowers. Marks & Spencer always do stunning bunches of flowers, but here you have the advantage of taking them straight to the car and home, rather than having them bashed about on the way through town or on the bus. One of the best places you can go if you’re getting flowers for someone special.

This is the latest Simply Food store to open in Cardiff. It is located on an out-of-town retail park and so there is plenty of free car parking. It has more than just food for sale though as it has a nice café at the back. This is nice place to take a break after a heavy morning shopping in the other stores nearby. There are snacks, hot drinks and hot meals on offer. The staff are all young and keen and are eager to answer any queries. They give excellent customer service. The range of food is also excellent and is the usual high quality that you would expect from this brand.
