The Art Warehouse does indeed look like a warehouse. You wouldn’t even think that it would be a mini art gallery if there weren’t two large ‘OPEN’ stickers on either side of the front doors. The first thing you see in front of you are many tables and chairs, with a small counter top that hold cakes, and serve teas and coffees. Above this, is where all the framing work is done and you usually can see someone working away diligently. On the right there is a huge array of cards that are by independent artists, and on the left is the mini art gallery, often showing very good work! I would say that they showcase about 3 to 4 artists at a time, usually with quite varied styles. This place just feels lovely. It is what it says it is on the label, with no fuss, no pretentiousness and no unnecessary frills. Double thumbs up.
