Some businesses really need to understand that they exist to serve customers, rather than the other way around and in a tough economy they need to go the extra mile to gain and retain customers.
Picture this, a cold October morning, what could be nicer on the walk to work than a nice hot Latte? Enter Mud Dock Deli, slap bang in the middle of my walk to work. The lights are on. The A Boards are up outside the place detailing their wares and the culinary goodies inside. There are even people milling around inside busy doing stuff. The signs are good, the place is open and I can part with a few pounds to get my coffee. Wrong. «We’re not open yet, come back in an hour».
Well Mud Dock Deli, no I won’t come back. Ever. And good luck to you too.
