Carpenters

Not a shop which sells men (or women) who craft items out of wood. Sadly, it is not also where you can come to and meet The Carpenters, who’s music I was brought up on thanks to my father continually insisting on playing them on the car stereo on absolutely every trip we would make, and if he didn’t reach the end of the song we were listening to when we reached our destination, he would continue to drive up and down the road until he arrived at precisely the time the song ended — which, with his partial deafness, often led to a 30 second drive sometimes taking the same length as Side A on his Carpenters cassette, nightmare!
What you can find here however is everything you would expect from a local convienience store — crisps, chocolate, household goods, alcohol, etc. A nice little place with friendly owners and a charming set-​up.

Part of the advertising included on the front of this store was:
‘GENUINE IRISH PRODUCTS’
Now, apart from the cans of guiness and few little random trinkets I didn’t really see the irish charm.
A convienience store, yes, with many of the local amienaties you would hope to find and a few little extra’s thrown in for good measure, but an irish store… I am not too convinced.
Very friendly inside and very good in terms of price.
