This is a no nonsense friendly curry house, good honest food at a reasonable price and it’s BYO. Delivery service is excellent. For a local Indian it’s perfect.

Bombay raj is in my opinion the best Indian restaurant /takeaway in bristol! Ive eaten in here too and its lovely and relaxing! The staff are really friendly too and the prices are cheap! They also do delivery and 15 percent discount off on collection!!! Ive been to allot of Indian restaurants and nowhere beats here!!!

There’s nothing particularly exceptional about Bombay Raj. It’s a smallish Indian restaurant, serving a plethora of dishes, and open all hours, just like so many other Indian restaurants the world over. These people work hard and get the job done. The Bombay Raj does have something that not all Indian restaurants have, a Tandori oven, which is enough to keep me coming back. I’m rather partial to Peshwari Nan and Sheek Kebab and can buy both for less than seven quid here. But, because the interior is nothing to write home about, the Raj perhaps comes into its own as a takeaway. You can have everything delivered with 15% off the eat-in menu prices, so that you can consume it at your own leisure in the comfort of your own home.
