The Whyte Harte

I have had many meals at The Whyte Harte but this particular visit was extremely pleasant. There is always a nice friendly atmosphere, and I usually always stay in the building for a few drinks after my meal.
While also being a excellent watering hole for locals and guests, the pub also serves fantastic food. The menu is ever so slightly on the more expensive side, but for the quality of the meals it is understandable. The steak which I had was perfectly cooked to medium rare, which as many steak eaters will know is something basic but is not undervalued. The juicy steak was accompanied by rocket and tomato with wedge cut chips which perfectly compliment the meal.
The service is kind, friendly and efficient. I was not left wanting for anything. I would highly recommend The Whyte Harte to over any other pub or restaurant in Bletchingley.

This is a 700 year old inn so there is plenty of tradition and character in here. It’s excellent value for money and has some great food. There is a real homely feel, it’s rather comforting sitting near the log fire! I was really impressed by the range on their menu, especially the door stop sandwiches!
