A nice chip shop, I particularly enjoy the chips with curry sauce from here. They serve nice chicken and chips although they have much to compete against with the arrival of Tennessee chicken. It is your typical chip shop with little to complain about. I like to visit here if I’m in a rush and quickly order myself a cone of chips and curry sauce.

My in-​laws live less than a mile from this chippy, so whenever we visit we get take away from here. It’s probably nothing special from a local’s point of view, but as an American it totally fits all the stereotypes about a British fish shop. It’s greasy and a little dirty and the women who work at it are rough around the edges and throw food at you after wrapping it in paper. The kebabs are really good too.
