When I started working at the Custard Factory, I was so excited to see what appeared to my NAIVE EYES as an independent bookshop (with coffee, according to the signs!) and somehow I managed to completely NOT focus on the very large letters proclaiming ‘ADULT STORE’.
So this review is short — I walked in thinking one thing, and quickly walked out again rather humiliated. What I saw when I went in was probably a decent volume of publications (books and DVDs) for sale, but that was enough for me to know it’s not for me. EMBARRASSING.
