Starbucks

The kinship between a starbucks employee that goes into another Starbucks store to use her discount on a drink is a beautiful thing. We understand the pain in each other’s eyes.
Considering it is a busy store, the staff are really fast and efficient and keep the queues at a decent, reasonable length. Kept tidy too with a lovely view outside.

The advantage of this Starbucks over any other is the amazing view. It’s a lovely place to sit for a morning cuppa, watching over some of the iconic sights of Birmingham.
The staff were very friendly and tea & croissant went down very well!

6.30am Starbucks. There are loads of Starbucks in Brum city centre, this one’s in the middle of the Bullring with outdoor seating giving you a great view of the iconic Selfridges building and St Martin Church. The shops at Bullring open around 10am during the week, this Starbucks opens at 6.30am so great for an early pit-​stop on the way to work. The coffee is as you’d expect from any Starbucks, I quite like it, I know it’s not to everyone’s liking, but it sorts me out on the way to work. When I call in it’s usually early and the store’s looking clean and tidy, the food fridges are well stocked and there are plenty of free seats, the wif-fi’s free too. Ok so this branch gets busy through the day and you might struggle for seats and have to queue for drinks at peak times, but you are in the most central Starbucks in Birmingham, what do you expect!

Great location with view of St Martin’s Church. All of the favourites we enjoy. Typical upbeat welcome from the well above average staff that Starbucks always seem to hire. In the UK the sandwiches are a little different and great.
Very nice outdoor seating area that is to be avoided in December but in more mild weather offer a view of the Church and Birmingham’s famous Bullring and Rotunda buildings. It’s a pedestrian area so you will not be breathing fumes.
