This is a clean and tidy local launderette with ample seating and a coffee machine. Wash prices were £3 for a small load and drying is 50p for 5 minutes.

Scrubs is a bit like going on a train journey, with the warm air and hum of moving machinery inducing a hypnotic calm.
Of course, there’s the practical benefit too, like getting a few things dry during typical English summers, or washing a duvet that dwarves domestic appliances.
The self service machinery is simple to operate, but first-​timers, or anyone feeling unsure, can speak to a member of staff following a knock on the back door.
Just be aware of a little pang of disappointment when your last pair of smalls is done. It’s possible to become so relaxed here, you won’t want to go home — unless it’s just to find more dirty linen to literally wash in public. Recommended to those with stains or in need of half-​an-​hour of me-​time.
