Ruby Cantonese Take Away

From reading the pas review I would totally disagree, my experience from this takeaway has always been good, I mean I am not a cheesiness food connoisseur but the food on many occasions has been susplended, by far the best from the rest in erdington.

This mediocre Chinese takeaway benefits from low prices and decent food, but the service here isn’t exactly what you’d call rapid and the staff are far from friendly. On a recent visit here, I arrived to collect my takeaway around 15 minutes after phoning through and had to wait a further 10 minutes inside before my order was ready. The waiting area was basic and uninspiring, lined with white tiles on the walls and grey tiles on the floors with no apparent Chinese theme or ambience besides the eatery’s menus. The plastic-​coated bench was all torn and there was no TV or magazines provided for waiting customers, just a couple of newspapers.
When my order finally arrived, I checked inside the bag handed to me by staff to make sure everything was right before leaving (old habit of mine). It turned out that the staff had forgotten my ribs and chicken wings, so I then had to wait a further 10 minutes in the depressing waiting area. When I got back home with my food, everything was of a good standard, but nothing really stood out taste-​wise. I’d definitely recommend getting your Chinese takeaway from elsewhere.
