Its crazy Jeff Bains has a shop, the shoes on the rag market are of higher qualify. Like the other reviews have stated the style of shoes here are like what a hooker would wear on their first day on the beat. On the plus side this shop is always having some sale of some sort, trying to prevent them closing down and returning to the abyss it came from More and more JB shops are popping up in shopping centers which surely says something about what women think is «good» footwear these days.

These shoes are mainly for the somewhat niche market of «specialist dancers» by which, of course, I mean strippers. Perspex heels, glitter finishes and four-inch stilettoes have a certain cachet when preceded by the words«Christian Louboutin»(even though they still look tacky). Add the words«Jeff Bains» and the magic is somewhat lost. This is a Bullring shoe shop that I don’t frequent. Everything is a bit too gaudy and nasty for my delicate/snobby disposition. The shoes are also rather expensive for something that looks so cheap. The shop feels a bit too Bilston Market to be asking for more than £20.00 for anything on sale. Make this your first port of call if you are after a pair of red patent thigh high boots. Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman would have loved this place before she met Richard Gere and ditched the pleather.

At first glance you would think Jeff Bains is a cheap, crappy shoe shop selling things you might find on a market stall and stripper shoes… well…it kind of is! But it’s not cheap! Not at all! Prices range from a tenner for some every day ballet flats to £90 for some skyscraper high, multicoloured monsters that even the most seasoned stripper would be scared of. They also sell bags but I didn’t find any of these to be particularly nice. The reason I am giving Jeff Bains 3 stars is because for weeks I’ve been trawling the Internet, looking for some silver prom shoes for my 16 year old sister. I can imagine that many mums are going through the exact same thing and I want to say to you all that THIS is the perfect shop for you! I’ve seen many of the styles in here on eBay already and have wondered what they look like in ‘real life’. Now I know and I can go back on eBay and get them a bit cheaper!
