Over the last 15 years I have spent a lot of time in this hotel. I have stayed overnight, up to 6 days e.g. retirement week: attended seminars and conferences e.g. mental health, Disability; meetings with friends, business colleagues e.g. Mary Kay, BNI, Kleeneze, Tiens, launches, breakfasts, lunches and more. Its a great cooling off spac with different sized rroomsqooms according to needs. Staff have come and gone; I’ve met some interesting, magical, mysterious guests. A great home away from home.

This hotel offers a range of rooms however the only difference is how many beds they have crammed into each space. The rooms are tidy and equipped with a TV, brew kit and trouser press. The bathrooms are quite good but I would recommend bringing your own soap and shampoo. The food is of an acceptable quality but i think £17 for a two course meal is very expensive for the quality provided and would suggest popping across the road to the close by venues. All in all, acceptable but I would say I’ve had better for far cheaper
