Nice country pub with it’s fair share of history. There’s a good selection of local ales(Some being regular fare and some guest ales). Nice atmosphere in the heart of the village with it’s share of regulars. Only negative is that it is a tad more expensive than I’d like. The restaurant is also very nice, very high quality of food. I’ve never stayed in the hotel, looks nice but i have no basis for a review. would recommend the pub for a drink anytime of year with benches outside in the sun or in front of the fire inside.
