Soho Farmhouse

Having been brought up in the beautiful Yorkshire Countryside and residing in the smoggy city that is London, I still long for the escape only a farmhouse set in rolling hills and vast lush fields can afford a country bumpkin like myself.
Guess what? I found it at Soho Farmhouse.
This little slice of well crafted heaven is just over an hour from London, by car or by train is easily accessible and perfect for a little weekend getaway with friends — or maybe for the more romantically inclined of you a great spot to escape for more intimate fun! The Farnhouse grounds hosts a variety of cabins suitable for families or couples, to more spacious lodgings of the large farmhouse itself or one of the sweet cottages. The vibe here is very much a dream home away from home. Even the décor — in true Soho House style — is something you’ll be scrambling to try and recreate once you return to the big smoke. It’s less hotel-​esque, and more like you’ve gone to visit your ever so stylish mates instead.
There are bikes and wellies on site and ready for your arrival, giving you every excuse to take a wander down along the lake or through the countryside on two wheels. The main part of the Farmhouse is where you’ll find the gorgeous Cowshed spa, the main barns where breakfast, lunch and dinner are served, not to mention the well stocked bar and lounge area for relaxing after a long day of exploring and chilling out. There’s also an indoor and heated outdoor pool for those fancying a fish free swim. The site even boasts it’s own cinema for those wishing to get cosy in one of the roomy armchairs and catch a new film.
You’ve be doing yourself a disservice to not spend some time at this beautiful place.
