Breadfirst deli

Nice little deli with a limited range. Offers plenty of samples to try out. Quite expensive compared to the deli’s in Leicester but the quality of the food can’t be denied. Would be nice to see some gluten free offerings.

Situated in the Ferrers Art and Craft Centre, in the picturesque ground of Staunton Harold is the impressive Breadfirst deli. Wonderful aromas greet you as you enter; is there a better smell than fresh bread? The friendly staff immediately invite you to try their variety of breads and cheeses, clearly proud of the products they sell. As well as the tiger bread, flatbreads, scones and other bakery delights they sell, there is also a range of handcrafted chocolates made locally, handmade desserts, and good range of quiches and cold meats. In addition there was also an interesting selection of pre-​made spice packs for creating Indian dishes like jalfrezi, aloo gobi and biryani rice, to name but a few. A great local find, with an interesting range of products, we will definitely be returning.
