Jack in the Box

Jack In The Box serves as the spectacularly reborn Altrincham Market House’s own mini-​pub. Together with Reserve’s wine-​focused bar, this corner of the hall always looks to be bustling with thirsty customers.
With several handpumps and eight keg dispensers, JITB serve up a very decent selection of craft beers and always include a small number from Blackjack (as this is their first Brewery Tap). Expect the likes of Burning Sky, Marble, Runaway, Siren and Weird Beard alongside a growing range of other bottled and canned beers.
If you’re unable to get a table to sit at, there are a couple of large barrels to rest your beer on and keep your eyes peeled for people leaving!
They’ve grown from strength to strength since the food hall relaunched in autumn 2014 and have just picked up Trafford and Hulme CAMRA’s pub of the season and newcomer of the year award (which is proudly displayed behind the bar). Really well deserved.
