Description

Specialties

Welcome aboard WASABI, a beautifully restored 1981 Stiletto 27′ Catamaran now offering day sails on the island of St. Thomas in the beautiful U.S. Virgin Islands. WASABI is a high performance catamaran that offers plenty of space for never more than (6) passengers with her spacious cockpit and forward trampoline. The Stiletto catamarans were designed for speed and WASABI is no exception; easily sailing faster than most other daysail vessels on the water. This speed advantage also enables us to offer a wider choice of beautiful destinations to explore. The choice is yours, we tailor every trip to our guests preferences.

History

Established in 2013.

Wasabi Sailing began as a dream of a young Caribbean captain to finally stop driving other people’s boats for a living. Like all foolish young motivated people my wife Sage and I got married and bought a boat & started a charter business all at the same time! Some how it all came together-whew! I wanted our boat to be unique and offer a different type of day sail here on St. Thomas. WASABI is a 1981 Stiletto 27 built by Force Engineering & designed by Bill Higgins of Hobie Cat fame. These boats were designed with performance in mind and were built with aircraft grade Nomex and fiberglass to be both super strong and light weight. WASABI is 27′ long and 14′ wide and offers a unique sailing experience with the attributes of her design. The boat features a hard fiberglass cockpit that seats (6) guests comfortably and a forward trampoline that provides plenty of space on deck to lounge, sunbathe and soak up the beautiful scenery. Stiletto cats are designed for speed and WASABI is spicy
