Solides Basic Hotel in guter Lage in ZRH. hbf und Ausgang in unmittelbarer Nähe — Preise hierfür fair und wenn man seine eigene Erwartung etwas reduziert sogar ziemlich gut. jetzt auch mit neuen Samsung TV screens — ob da das Motel One demnächst mithalten kann? Alles in allem: GUT

It’s hard to write this review because all I wanted was an inexpensive place to sleep and if that’s what my criteria was… Came into Zurich on a Saturday on a warm September day which means ‘party time’ in the area around the hotel. And with a bar about 30 ft away, people hanging outside and having a good time… not sure it met my criteria as sleep was not going to come easily! Be sure to bring earplugs but they may not help that much. With no AC in the rooms, you must keep the windows ajar a little so therefore you get all the noise and maybe some cigarette smoke. It was a sleepless night. Sunday night was much much better as most bars and restaurants are closed and it was raining so it really would have dampened the bar patrons!
The room itself is very nice, compact, efficient and literally has everything you need. Lots of outlets so bring your converters. Hotel receptionists are SUPER nice and helpful. It’s about a 5 to 10 min walk to train station. I was told not to head in one direction as its kind of a red light district at night but every where else was fine. They have free Wifi and two computers available.

Im easyHotel wird auch alles ganz schön easy gehalten. Luxus, Roomservice, super Ausblick auf die Stadt, nette Zimmernachbarn, einen riesen Plasma-​TV im Zimmer, viel Platz… das alles gibt es im easyHotel NICHT!
Aber halb so schlimm, das Konzept ist extra auf diese Non-​Luxury Masche ausgelegt. Dass heisst also, dass man NICHT an einer Lebensmittelvergiftung sterben wird und auch dass KEINE Käfer nachts einen Spaziergang über dein Gesicht machen werden. Denn Qualität, Hygiene und Wohlbefinden ist und bleibt das A und O.
Also das easyHotel ist für alle Reisende da, die ihr Geld lieber für Shoppen, Ausgang und sonstiges ausgeben wollen, anstatt für ein teures Zimmer im Hotel, dass man sowieso nur nachts so halb erkennt…
Schön nach dem Motto: solange das Bett sauber und es sich darauf einigermassen schlafen lässt, ist die Welt des Reisens völlig in Ordnung.
