I had been putting off get a hair cut after moving to Zurich because I had been very busy, hadn’t had time to set up an appointment as is normally required in most places in Switzerland, and dreaded the lost in translation possibility of a bad haircut. I travel a lot and seem to have had bad hair cuts all over the world. Surprisingly, I was able to walk in on 3 PM on Saturday with no appointment and get one of the best hair cuts I have ever received with little difficulty talking talking to the barber/​stylist in English. Very nice guy. The price was 35CHF for a men’s hair cut.
