I had the palak paneer, what I see as a good measure of any Indian restaurant. Not enough spinach for my taste in the sauce, but at least the paneer was the real deal, not a block of feta like some Stockholm Indian places will serve you. I give three stars cause the dinner portion was so small that I was still hungry even with the garlic naan. I asked for a bit extra noting the size and was refused by the chef. Obviously he has gotten to comfortable here in Sweden. In light of this I would say three stars is generous.

Food is good, and Indian level of spiciness. They have many vegetarian options. Staff is friendly, food is prompt. The food was excellent. Outdoor seating available.

I love coming here because it smells SO. DAMN. GOOD. Disclaimer: I’ve only ordered takeaway from here. Therefore, I can’t really speak about service or anything like that. Seeing as food is clearly the most important factor here, it’s not so big a deal. The food has never taken a crazy amount of time to be ready. I’m always surprised at how little time I spend waiting. Once home I’m always pleased with what I get. Tasty, fresh, and a good portion size! After trying other Indian food around, I have to say this may be the best in the neighborhood!

Granted, the place looks not that nice, neither outside nor inside, but it’s the best Indian food I had in Europe so far(including a few trips to London). The service was very nice, explained the Swedish menu to us and made excellent suggestions. The food arrived quickly and was — as I said — delicious. Extra tip: The tasting menus easily feeds two not extremely hungry adults if you add one or two extra naan, making a diner there quite inexpensive — for Sweden. We paid 300 sek for that including beer.

At last a great Indian in Stockholm. Really good and authentic dishes — worth a drive to Solna for Friday night takeaway!
