Located right across the street from the Hotel Casa de Tepa, this is a great place to eat for anyone visiting Astorga, whether a tourist or a pilgrim on the Camino. It was where we had our evening meal before departing on the Camino the next morning. It’s a quaint little restaurant that serves a full menu, as well as options for a pilgrim meal. My traveling companion had fish; I had a hearty beef stew in a tomato broth. Both were served with fried potatoes(which are far more common in Spain than I had anticipated), a rustic loaf of bread, and a delicious bottle of house wine. It was a great place to eat, and convenient to many locations downtown.
