Super fancy French food. I love the ravioli and the lobster. The complimentary french bread was so good. It’s quite dark inside though.

Don’t think that because the restaurant isn’t packed that the food isn’t good. We were blown away by the presentation and taste! We did not have a reservation but were seated right away on a Wednesday night. For starters, I had the Carpaccio & my husband had the Salmon Tartare. The Carpaccio was outstanding. The presentation of the Salmon Tartare was a work of art. The dish was quite delicious but the Salmon tartare was missing something. But still a 9 out of 10. The eggplant soup might be better than the white bean soup at Marmalade! The quiche of the day was spectacular. The crust was unbelievably flaky & just what you thought a perfect quiche crust would be. Be careful not to fill up on this! We split the lamb chops. We make lamb at home, we have been to Greek Town in Chicago, and we have Greek friends who cook lamb for us… these were the best lamb chops we have ever had! The wine list was decent. We found a delicious Pinot Noir we have never had before. You are allowed to take home what you can’t finish. Also, you can bring in your own wine for a $ 15 corking fee. We finished our meal with a raspberry soufflé. WOW! We had an enjoyable conversation with who we thought was the hostess & helper but turned out to be the owner. Perfection was seen & tasted at Trois Cent Onze.

Exceptional night. The ambiance, food and service combine for something very special. It was difficult to choose from such a well tailored menu, but the duck breast was baked in honey and foie gras to just the right texture and the terrine de foie gras were incredible. The flavors are so full and the presentation is very artful. I ended up ordering the scallops as well. The desserts were very unique, the soufflé deserves a lot of praise. Top class. One of my favorite restaurants

Perfection… absolute perfection! There was precise care and thought given to every detail on the plates. With so many good choices, we were reluctant to order the Salmon Tartare because it is not a local fish. The Salmon Tartare was the star of the show! Salmon wrapped in thinly sliced cucumber accompanied by a lime foam and a ginger foam as well as a caviar-topped melon ball. Every bite was different and spectacular!!! They treated us to morsel-sized truffled scones topped with portobello — how they pack SOMUCH flavor into one bite we could not understand. Our next dish was a foie gras pâté. Served with a toasted brioche point… it melted in our mouths. Next…Beef Carpaccio… it was prepared in classic style and did not disappoint. Served with capers and delicate Parmesan medallions. Last dish… grilled octopus plated with herb de Provence emulsion… FANTASTIC!!! We finished the night with a coffee martini and the wonderful company of the bartender. Service was five star… nothing else to say.

We went to diner last night with family, we were six in the group. The service could not have been better and so was the food! We ordered the escargots and had to order more since they were so good. As a matter of fact, everything that we ordered was excellent. Did not take pictures because we attacked the food too fast. Lol Our group came trickling in and it did not bother them. They catered to all our needs. In all we were there for three hours and they were as pleasant at the beginning as the end.

Amazing food. Amazing service. We loved it so much we went two nights in a row. Servers were so attentive and so friendly. Food was phenomenal. Among the best meals we’ve had in a long time. Dessert was great. Atmosphere was lovely. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting San Juan.

Great food, gorgeous presentation and great service! Staff were professional and friendly. We all enjoyed our food, wine and dessert. There was nothing that we didn’t like about this place. We will definitely go there again next in Old San Juan.

Came here for my birthday with friends – had the escargot appetizer and the sea bass entrée. While everything was well cooked, nothing was very flavorful and jumped out at me as ‘this is really good.’ Our waiter was very nice and accommodating to all of our questions and the experience itself was positive. The crème brûlée dessert at the end was perfect.

5 star experience! We came for a late snack around 9pm and had the scallops which were fantastic and the apple tart for dessert which hit the spot. The service was amazing and the atmosphere was fantastic for a romantic or small group dinner.

Beautiful space. Incredible service. Wonderful food. My wife and I were in PR for my birthday and our concierge recommended 311 for a special night. We went on Sunday and the restaurant was quieter than the night before(for which I am grateful) with about five tables occupied. Our waiter victor was knowledgeable about the menu and the wines and made great suggestions to us. We ordered three starters, one for each of us and onion soup gratinee to share. All were very good but the foie gras pâté with truffle was incredible. For main courses we had their cod with shiitake broth and pan seared sea bass with chicken truffle sausage — kind of a surf and turf. Both delicious but I was taken by the sea bass(did I mention that I love truffles?). Dessert was raspberry soufflé, yum. Now comes the interesting part of the evening. Sated we paid our bill and returned to our hotel. When I arrived, there was a message on my phone; I had left my credit card at 311. As they are closed on Monday I took a taxi to the restaurant where a lovely young lady handed me the card — no hassles and very impressive. I will make 311 a must go each time we are back in Pr.

Honestly… I’m a chef and not a lot places under $ 50 can impress to the point of writing a review. The staff, our waiter(name forgotten — my apologies,) and Chef Carlos impressed me beyond my wildest imagination and truly brought me back to what truly amazing food is supposed to taste like. If you HATE an amazing time, mind-blowing food, and incredible food execution DONOTGO here!

Didn’t have a reservation but they promptly seated us, which is always so appreciated. Started off with the escargot which was just simply delicious. For dinner I had the shrimp risotto which was fabulous! my boyfriend had the pork tenderloin and the waiter suggested to accompany it with the pumpkin salpicon — which turned out to be the perfect accompaniment. All I can say is Oh Em Gee!!! This place was amazing — from the décor to service to the food — we were definitely pleased and so happy we stopped in. Def turned out to be a highlight of our trip, and can’t wait to go back.

What a great experience! Yes, the portions are small but we left fully satisfied with everything. I went with my husband and parents and all of us enjoyed every single dish! We each had our own appetizers: escargot for mom, mushroom for dad, liver for hubby and crab/mango salad for me. All great! Then for entrees we had: pork medallions, filet mignon, seabass & asparagus risotto. Again amazing! And of course dessert: crème brûlée, chocolate & hazelnut cake, & chocolate mousse. Holy yum! And of course our server Victor made our experience even more memorable! Would definitely recommend to anyone going to Old San Juan.

We were craving French food and this restaurant did not disappoint! Service was amazing and friendly, the entire experience was a treat. Don’t miss out on the duck! It’s really the best I’ve ever had… perfectly prepared with a seared edge and a great sauce. Really very good! We’d recommend this restaurant to everyone… even if you plan on going to the other French restaurant in OSJ… this is still a wonderful dining option.

Sick of mofongo and pina coladas? Trois Cent Onze was an amazing reprieve from the awful puerto rican food we had day after day in Old San Juan. In fact, we went there 2 days in a row. Over the two days, we had: Foie gras terrine(5 star) Sea bass with truffled chicken sausage(5 stars) Bouillabaisse(5 stars) Muscovy duck(4 stars) Crab & mango salad(5 stars) Duck carpaccio(4 stars) Shrimp & Leek ravioli with truffle sauce(5 stars) Grilled Salmon(3 stars) Escargot(4 stars) Ice cream & Apple thin crust tart(5 stars… and I don’t even like ice cream!) Most, if not all the food, was better than anything else we had on our 6 day trip in Puerto Rico(except maybe the continental brunch at the Sheraton where we went every morning out of laziness and gluttony) Dinner for 4 with a bottle of cremant came out to $ 180, Dinner for 3 without wine came out to $ 120. Unbelievable prices and great service. Also, they give you sparklers if it’s your birthday ;)

The food here was unbelievable. I ordered the grouper with a side of Lima beans(definitely the best side dish on the menu), and my sister got the shrimp risotto. Words can’t describe how good this food tasted. On top of that, the service was excellent and so was the general ambiance of the restaurant. They space out your meals so make sure you dine slowly. Relax, enjoy the food and the experience. Bön appetit!

Our first dinner in PR! Christmas Eve dinner! Well, we’re here to relax and we did not notice the dressing code until we were seated… A little bit awkward that we were in Ts, shorts and flip flops, when everyone around us were wearing shirts and dresses and delicate accessory and makeup… But we still had a great time. EVERYTHINGWETRIEDFWASGREAT! We are a party of 7, and each of us ordered something we like, including fish, beef, duck, pork, and lamb… The plating was amazing, the dishes were cooked just about right, and the sauces really complimented the meat/fish. We know we were not supposed to in a upscale restaurant, but we ended up sharing each other’s food, because everything was sooooooo good. The desserts were also excellent. Soufflé of the day was mango flavor, and that’s our favorite, the crème brûlée was a little bit too sweet for me… The chocolate hazelnut cake w/ice cream was also good, not too sweet, and got a nice contrast of temperature and texture. The tables got some candles on it, and we enjoyed our dinner to the candle light. The ambience was quiet and romantic, so glad we picked this place for Christmas Eve. A little bit pricy, but it’s worth it:)
