Business Owner
The great world of gastronomy has been my passion since I was 17. I started working in a pizza place. At the beginning I was studying Computers Science, and then I realized that cooking was made for me. I studied in Instituto de Banca in Hato Rey. I left the pizzeria and started working in different places until I get to fine dining. I finished my studies and restaurants like Hermes, Chayote, Bistro de Paris and Chef Alex Bistro Catalina were my Inspiration to open my own restaurant.
I could say that I am self-taught, a fan of the seminars and a faithful reader of cookbooks to keep growing in this evolutionary carrier as a chef.
I went to French Culinary Arts in New York and get certified in Hydrocolloids. I have done internships in WD-50 in New York and El Claustro Restaurant at Spain. I’ve been recognized by the magazine Paladar from El Vocero as one of the 10 best chef novel from Puerto Rico in 2009 and have won local competitions.
