Awesome sandwiches and amazing pastries. We got a Cuban and a custom breakfast sandwich. They gave us a pastry for free.

The sweet bread with the egg and cheese is simply phenomenal. For 2.75 you get a huge sandwich. Love love love!

Great food and reasonable prices. Tried the ham, mortadella, cheese and egg sandwich on sweet bread. Quesito for dessert. Large portions!

Had breakfast here. The doughnuts looked good, like professionally made good. I had the eggs, ham, and cheese sandwich on sweet bread. I was stuffed, could barely finish it. It was like a loaf of bread with breakfast food for $ 3 – 4. The café was great as well. And yeah go for the sweet bread, you’re welcome.

So glad I checked Unilocal while on vacation and found this gem! We were staying nearby at a resort with overpriced, sub-par food($ 80 for breakfast for an adult, a 15 year old, an 8 year old, and a 6 year old). Came here for some pasteries and donuts, and brought them back to the hotel for breakfast for the remainder of our stay. They were fresh, delicious, flaky, and just perfect. Highly recommend!

Excellent find thanks to previous reviews. Great stop on way to rainforest. Tasty ham, egg & cheese sandwiches. Large enough to share, bought 2 for 4 people. The donuts were fresh & delicious.

Good food for a great price. Sandwiches are large enough to split. Sweets are yummy. Fast and friendly service even if your Spanish is rusty. Went there 3 times during our stay due to its prime location and low cost. Carb heaven!

The sweet bread and all of the pastries are really good, you can’t leave without the sweet bread, and it’s delicious in sandwiches. It seems to be a popular, but small place and is definitely worth the cost and trip

This place has a large variety of local desserts. I had the vanilla flan and my husband had a doughnut and piece of cake. He liked both things he sampled and I liked the flan. It was not like Mexican flan and it was thicker and heavier than what I am used to, but I did like it. I was also suppressed by the price. It was really inexpensive for what we got. I think it was $ 3.50 or something really cheep. I had to ask the person who was serving us to repeat herself because I thought I was mistaken by what she said. That was a perk!

Amazing sandwiches and pastries! We stumbled upon this place on Christmas day after a hike because it was one of the only open places we could find. Little did we know we stumbled into a gem! The girl and her brother who worked there are so sweet and found an English menu, walking us through all there sandwiches and sweets. The sandwiches took a bit if time but were worth the wait! The had delicious cheese and meat on this sweet bread they make there then pressed in a panini press to perfection. The donuts are fresh and tasty. The service is great.

I loved finding this place – a sandwich shop attached to a small grocery. We showed up after a day of hiking in El Yunque, and were sure we were in the wrong spot, as it is located in a strip mall. It is FANTASTIC. The owner took our orders for sandwiches, even though they had stopped making them at 2 pm.(it was after 6 pm). He also gave us free coffees while we waited, and then a small loaf of fresh bread. I had the tripleta, which was soooo good, and my husband had the Cuban, which, I kid you not, was one of the best we have ever tasted. And we live in South Florida! We also bought slices of a chocolate mousse cake which was heavenly. Directions via the Unilocal app could have been more straightforward.

Awesome sandwiches(which taste even better after being smashed into your backpack and lugged around for like six hours). Restroom was a little gross, which matters when you have to poo really bad. If you’re not staying in the area, not worth going out of your way to find, as there are countless bakeries all over Puerto Rico, but if you happen to be driving by and craving sandwiches and strong coffee served in ridiculously tiny little cups, this might be your spot.

LOVE the sweet bread, in fact came back twice to take some home! So fresh, slightly sweet, and so cheap. I was not a huge fan of the sandwiches made with sweet bread, you can opt for french bread, lettuce, and tomato. The sandwiches are HUGE, and super cheap. I loved the breakfast sandwich with salami. I was not a huge fan of Puertican pastries in general. Very sweet, kind of stale tasting.
