At Rincon Diving & Snorkeling, we see land as the thing that separates us from the sea. There’s a whole other world underwater, and we help people discover it. It’s a world where color and life play with each-​other, equal parts breathtaking natural landscapes, astonishing wildlife and vibrant color.

We make this wondrous place accessible, hosting excursions, providing equipment and instruction, and making sure that everyone feels safe and comfortable. if you love surfing, maybe you’d love diving and snorkeling too! We really like showing off our reefs, so we got really good at it!

We accept credit cards, offer wifi and implement online booking. If you’re itching to explore, we’ll help you find your next adventure for as low as $ 50.

Established in 2013.

For a few years now, we’ve been helping the curious explore. We really love what we do, and the people we do it with. We can’t wait to see what the future brings!

My mother and I wanted to do something while in Rincon but did not feel ready for a dive. We decided on a Snorkeling trip. The shop is closed on Wednesdays but we were still able to book a snorkeling trip on July 1st. It turned out to be just my mother and I along with our guide, which wasn’t so bad. Our guide was friendly, informative and made us feel very at ease. We went right off of steps beach where the water was a beautiful blue, and we saw lots of elkhorn coral and different fish. We were able to rent two underwater cameras to take photos, which was also fun. My personal favorite part of the experience was when our guide pointed out a school of fish and I got to swim among them. The snorkeling trip is great for families or just those who don’t want to dive quite yet.

The employee working today cost me about $ 150 and wasted two hours of my time and my buddy’s time by being a general nudnik. My buddy left to go diving at 8:30 am but for some reason they didn’t leave to go dive until 10:30 according to the employee. I went by the shop to inquire what time they’d be coming back and she said 2pm. I left a note as an extra precaution which she put with his keys to make extra sure he’d get it.
Long story short… they actually came back at 12, she didn’t give him the note. At first she said she did, but she realized I was going to talk to him and gave me some story about how she forgot because she thought he paid for two dives instead of one, my buddy/​ride looked for me for two hours, I looked and waited for him for two hours, and I’m gonna have to take a taxi for $ 150 to leave this nothing place.
Hopefully she’s not the same one refilling the oxygen bottles.

Highly recommended. My son and I haven’t dived in 5 years and Carmen and Alex Ramirez answered all questions and assuaged all my concerns. We barely arrived on time but Alex was waiting for us to size our equipment. I wanted an easy, JV day and Alex delivered. He was patient, well-​spoken and safety conscious… exactly what I wanted.
I brought my non-​diving family along, expecting they would snorkel at the same site while my son and I scuba’d. Alex explained they would be disappointed and took the time to give them an alternative site (Steps Beach). He gave them directions as well as the local gotchas. They had a great time.
My son and I dove at the Blue House first then Stella Beach for our second dive. Alex set up everything and explained each dive’s particulars. We were never rushed. Our highlights were the coffin, a Spiny Lobster and a Juvenile Spotted Drum (spectacular fish) among other things. I had an awesome day with my son that I’ll never forget. If you’re diving in western PR, ask for Alex Ramirez.

My family did a private snorkeling session with Evan today. We had a wonderful time. Evan was knowledgable, friendly, and gave great instruction. I am pretty apprehensive about being in the ocean, but he did a great job easing my fears. Far exceeding everything else was the care he gave to my 5 year old son who snorkeled (like a champ!) for the first time today. Evan pretty much did everything to care for my son while I freaked out and my husband tried to enjoy the scenery. I ended up watching from the shore after feeling a little sea sickness and felt perfectly comfortable that they were about 50 feet out. A big bonus – he showed us some awesome fish and was very knowledgable about the underwater ecosystem.
Highly recommend this company. In addition to the great time we had today, they were prompt to respond to emails and very professional. Most tour companies we’ve dealt with in Puerto Rico were either completely unprofessional or never responded to requests. Not sure how companies that rely on tourist revenue are so flaky, but that’s another gripe for another day. But lends to the professionalism of this company being so refreshing.

We took the snorkeling tour Wednesday and was very impressed. Our guide Alex Ramirus took us to steps beach and spent hours with us showing us the corals and the many beautiful varieties of fish. He was extremely nice and knowledgeable. This tour was also more economical then others in the area. We will use them again the next time we are in Rincón.

All I look for in a dive shop — thanks Rincon Diving & Snorkelling, we had a great day. My boyfriend and I did a 2 tank dive with our guide, Tom, who took us to two very different shore-​entry dives in Rincon (Coffin and Cross /​Stella) The RDS team were welcoming, informed and made sure we felt safe, secure and knew what to look for when we were under the water. While on the dive, Tom patiently worked with a group of different levels and made sure we all had a great time underwater. That as well as being a really interesting person to chat to while we were above water in between dives. I have been diving for a while but this was my first time doing a shore entry — and made me want to come back to do more. It’s a really great experience swimming out then dropping down to see such diverse underwater landscape. Thanks again Tom and RDS — thoroughly recommend diving with this team.

This is the best and most economical please is the west for snorkeling. By been in rincon the sea is not that wavy and not been as touristy as lajas the tours are very economical. Daniel the guide took me to two different reefs, the guy took great pictures for me and the guy is very patient for beginners. I highly recommend this please.

Amazing experience, all the staff is super great! We tried to do snorkeling one day, but the swell didn’t allow and they preferred to loose some business that day other than give us a bad and unsafe experience. We came back for an amazing snorkeling tour with Tom. Much recommended.

I e-​mailed them a couple days before arriving in Rincon, and they got back to me quickly. I called back and confirmed with Brenda who was very congenial and informed. When I arrived, I realized my car situation was lacking so when I called Rincon Diving again the day before the dive telling them about my situation they offered to pick me up and drop me off! That is great customer service! I dove with Tom, unfortunately they only do shore diving so we drove in his pick up and set off on the beach. You can’t get to the best dive sites evidently (per the guide books) but it only cost $ 66 for a 45min bottom time, BCD, tank, and fins rental (and the pick up was gratis!). We explored the reef and hunted for lion fish which suspiciously weren’t around. We visited the memorial site to people lost at sea (it’s a coffin but no dead body luckily). I would definitely recommend using them, but beware that they don’t have a boat.
