We won’t be back… My wife said Chinese, so I picked up my Unilocal app on the Mobile and found a close one with 4.5 stars. Not at all sure how it got this rating! This is typical«Puerto Rican fast-food» Chinese. But although my wife was ready to leave I didn’t want to go restaurant hopping for the rest of the afternoon. So I ordered something for us that I thought that she would like: the Chopped Suey with Beef and 2 Egg Rolls. The food was certainly fast enough and the restaurant is clean, though I did not use the rest room. The dining area was booth style, and was worn around the edges – almost shabby. The food came hot. I asked for rice with the dish and got the PR standard: rice along side french fries. The egg rolls contained a shredded mixture of meat and vegetables. The chopped suey had onions, baby corn, broccoli, carrots a few bits of asian beef(red around the edges) a bamboo shoot or two, and some freshly cooked beef slices all of which were in a broth – not really a sauce. I thought the amount of beef in this dish was just right. The rice had bits of red bell pepper, ham, a tiny bit of egg, and some leafy green. As I said typical PR fast-food Chinese, because the flavors were insipid. The rice was plain with little to say it was Chinese, more with the flavor of the ham. The beef tasted fresh but again had a broth with almost no spices. The Egg Roll however had an unpleasant flavor that would later remind you later that you had eaten it. Was it the oil that wasn’t fresh? All this in an elegant Styrofoam box! We will not go back. I also had the shake and the Oreo Cheesecake. The shake was good and the cheesecake was OK,(had some of the quality of a pudding – it was whipped, so it wasn’t quite like the cheesecake you would get at the Cheesecake factory.) But these and most of the other items that they had were pre-made and packaged somewhere else, including the soy sauce and the duck sauce. As for value, for just under $ 18 I can’t even say this was economical since we threw half of it away.

Great place. Rice is good. Fried chicken is pretty good. Their best plate is the szechuan chicken.
